Train the Trainers - Aviation English Trainers
- Develop an understanding of the aviation world in action
- Examine the working background of pilots and air traffic controllers
- Investigate the use of phraseology and plain English in aeronautical communication
- Focus on communicative language teaching in the aviation context
- Analyse and create working syllabi and materials for Aviation English

Extended Two-Week Aviation English Training Courses
The extended two-week course for teachers includes the areas covered in the one week course above plus:

Train the Raters - Applying the ICAO assessment criteria
- Explore language testing in an aviation context
- Examine current tests of aviation English language proficiency
- Analyse the ICAO assessment criteria
- Practice assessing using the ICAO Rating Scale and Holistic Descriptors
- Practice interlocution skills and language test delivery
