Our testing pedigree
Emery-Roberts is committed to promoting standards in language testing for the aviation industry. Since ICAO document 9835 was first published seven years ago, Emery-Roberts has:
- Participated in the ICAO PRICE-SG Linguistic Sub-Group tasked with the development of the ICAO Training Aid, Rated Speech Samples (2006);
- Presented peer-reviewed papers on testing and assessment at events around the world, including the ICAO International Aviation Language Symposium (2007), Language Testing Research Colloquium (2010) and the Language Testing Forum (2011);
- Managed the ICAO / ICAEA Rated Speech Samples Training Aid (under development); and
- Trained scores of raters and test developers for civil aviation authorties and commercial test providers worldwide.
