Course dates in 2010 for Aviation English courses at Oxford Aviation Academy have been finalised.
Intensive one week courses focusing on speaking and listening in English for ICAO level 4+. These courses are ideal for pilots and controllers who wish to practice their plain English language skills. The courses focus on communicating in non-routine situations in flight operations. At the end of a course of study, trainees have the option to take an English language proficiency test.

These specialist courses develop the English language skills necessary to communicate effectively on the radio in routine and non-routine flight operations.
Training focuses on the six ICAO language profiles of pronunciation, structure, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension and interactions.
Pilots and ATCOs have the opportunity to develop confidence in spoken English and to practice communicating in work-related contexts with close support and guidance from our specialist aviation English language teachers.
At the end of a course of study, trainees have the option to take an English language proficiency test.
